While Q is fully open source and custom building your front end is always an option, this should not prevent you from starting your DAO. Luckily a comprehensive interface fitting the capabilities of the Q GDK already exists and is in use for governing the Q Blockchain today. Not to mention any 3rd party interfaces that can be leveraged.
